After many years working for large energy companies, Pamela Morgan wanted to help people think differently about how energy is produced and used and began her consulting firm Graceful Systems.
Rareheron had developed an earlier website for Pamela that dealt more with sustainable models for energy production. Pamela was very happy with the way the site (and a subsequent blog we designed for her) turned out. But after a couple of years, her business model evolved to place a heavier emphasis on consulting and education to help business, governments and the non-profit sector collaborate on finding strategic solutions to complex questions surrounding energy.
Pamela loves to use analogies to explain complex concepts.
The old site featured three Flash files that highlighted Pamela’s vision of how energy could be shared and how to plan for the future.
But since Flash is not supported on i-devices, the new site would need to accommodate Pamela’s interest in "telling a story” another way.
By employing a javascript “carousel” on the top page, Pamela would be able to provide introductory text about herselft and her consulting firm, and go deeper into her methods for helping people see new possibilities.

Pamela's new site now has more emphasis on her consulting and education process, while still keeping her focus on the energy sector. Besides the new homepage carousel, we have also incorporated a blog into the site. Pamela opted for our custom content management system to update her site, and a custom WordPress theme for managing her blog.
