• Open Directory (DMOZ) uses volunteer editors to catalog the Web. If your site is accepted into the Open Directory, it may take anywhere from two weeks to several months for your site to be listed on partner sites. Add your URL to DMOZ . (Open Directory makes updates of the data available weekly, but each partner has its own update schedule. Partners include AltaVista, AOL Search, Direct Hit, HotBot, Google, Lycos, Netscape Search.)
