Search Engine Registration

We add meta tags and take basic steps to get your Web site ready for search engine indexing, but full search engine optimization is a separate project.

When your new Web site is finished we register it with Google and DMOZ. It can take several months for your site to be listed in search engines and Web site directories.

  • Google uses robots known as 'spiders' to crawl the Web on a regular basis and find sites to include in its index. Your Web site's ranking in Google is based on an ever-evolving algorithm.
    Add your URL to Google.
  • Open Directory (DMOZ) is the largest, most comprehensive human-edited directory of the Web. It is constructed and maintained by a vast, global community of volunteer editors. Open Directory makes updates of the data available weekly, but each partner has its own update schedule. Partners include AltaVista, AOL Search, Direct Hit, HotBot, Google, Lycos, Netscape Search.)
Add your URL to DMOZ .
